Li Peng Urges People to Study Jiang Zemin's Speech
Li Peng, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), urged people to earnestly study the speech made by CPC Central Committee General Secretary Jiang Zemin Sunday.
Li made the remark at the conclusion of a grand gathering that was held to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the CPC at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing Sunday morning.
Jiang Zemin, Zhu Rongji, Li Ruihuan, Hu Jintao, Wei Jianxing and Li Lanqing attended the meeting.
