Consensus Reached on Major Problems Concerning China's WTO Entry

The 16th meeting of the China working group in Geneva has reached a consensus on major problems concerning China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO), a spokeswoman with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation said Wednesday.

Gao Yan said since most of the remaining problems from the multilateral talks have been solved, this demonstrated substantial negotiations on China's WTO accession have concluded.

During the 17th meeting scheduled on July 16, she said, those legislative documents, including the protocol that has finally been finished and the working group's report, will be discussed and examined.
