Typhoon Utor Hits Guangdong

A big tree in downtown Shantou City in south China's Guangdong Province was blown down by the No. 4 typhoon Utor on July 6, 2001. The typhoon, landed from the coastal areas between Haifeng and Huidong of the province Thursday, weakened into a strong tropical storm, bringing gales and rainstorms in the southeastern part of Guangdong.
