Chinese Culture Summer Camp for ROK Students Starts in Liaoning

Nineteen students from the Republic of Korea (ROK) started Monday a month-long summer camp focusing on Chinese culture in Anshan City of Liaoning Province, northeast China.

The student group, from high schools and primary schools, will receive special training in Chinese, along with other courses such as Chinese calligraphy, music and martial arts.

They also will visit a few famous historical sites in the province, and live with Chinese families.

Sports matches in football and basketball will be arranged between the ROK students and their Chinese peers.
