Beijing to Improve Cadres' Law Awareness

The head of Beijing's judiciary announced Tuesday that the priority of the city's law publicity work in the next five years will be given to improving cadres' awareness of the law.

Wang Chongxun, director of the Beijing Justice Bureau, said that the municipal government will continue to seek efficient ways to improve legal education among cadres.

According to a five-year plan on law publicity, emphasis will be put on cadres, judicial staff, juveniles, business people and migrant laborers.

A lecture group of experts and legal workers was inaugurated Tuesday, and they will give lectures to cadres at various levels on legal knowledge.

Beijing has highlighted legal publicity by implementing several five-year plans.
