Organizing Committee for Chinese Ninth National Games Set up
The organizing committee for China's Ninth National Games was set up in Guangzhou on Saturday when the games were only 92 days away.
Yuan Weimin, chief of State Sport General Administration, was appointed the organizing committee chairman, and Lu Ruihua, governor of Guangdong Province, was appointed executive chairman of the organizing committee. The committee for discipline inspection of the games was also founded on the same day.
There are a total of 30 sports including 345 events in the games.
