First Russian Ballet School Established in China

Two famous Russian dancing schools will jointly set up a ballet school in this capital city of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province in the middle of September.

According to related contracts, the Chinese side will provide facilities needed by the jointly-run school, and the Russian side will provide teachers and teaching plans.

The school, with the name "Harbin Branch of Novosibirsk Ballet School", will offer four-year education on ballet. The students will spend three years in Harbin and one year in Russia to complete their study.

All qualified graduates will get a diploma offered by the two Russian dancing schools.
