All US-Bound Chinese Planes Land Safely

All the three Chinese planes en route to the United States when the severe attacks in the United States happened last night have landed safely, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said Wednesday.

Of the three planes, China Eastern Airlines' MU583 and Air China's CA985 passenger planes landed in Vancouver of Canada and China Eastern Airlines' MU5787 cargo plane landed at a military airport in the United States.

The CAAC has ordered offices of Chinese airlines in the United States and Canada to make proper arrangement for the three planes.

There was no Chinese plane at any U.S. airport when the disasters happened.

Meanwhile, China has ordered cancellation of all four regular flights to the United States on September 12 to ensure flight safety, according to the CAAC.

Comprehensive safety arrangements have been made for all flights of Chinese airlines, the CAAC said.
