China's Telephone Subscribers Exceed 300 MillionThe latest statistics show that the number of telephone subscribers in the country has reached 302 million, a new record in the development history of China's telecommunications industry.The statistics were jointly released here Thursday by China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. It is learned that the number of telephone users in China amounted to 200 million in September last year. According to the three telecom companies, the number of Chinese telephone users had exceeded 300 million by the end of September.
