AUAP Fourth Session Opens in Guizhou

The fourth gathering of the Association of Universities in Asia and Pacific (AUAP) opened in Guiyang, capital city of southwest China's Guizhou Province Tuesday.

During the six-day session, which is organized by Guizhou University, over 50 presidents and vice-presidents of dozens of universities in the region will look for ways to popularize higher education, discuss pioneering research fields, and share ideas on management of institutions of higher learning.

AUAP, founded in 1995, is a non-governmental organization registered with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. More than 200 universities have become its members
