East China's Shanghai Municipality is preparing for the seventh International Human Genome Conference, which is scheduled between April 14 and 17 and will be attended by over 700 local and overseas experts and scholars. On the conference, unresolved issues like the relation between human genes and diseases, genetic study and evolution, ethics and legal issues would be discussed.
