Two shooters Set Olympic record China's Yifu WANG and France's Franck DUMOULIN set an Olympic record (590) to share the lead going into the Men's 10m Air Pistol final. With the closest challenger, Igor BASINSKY (BLR), seven points behind, both shooters go into the final as medal favourites. BASINSKY took the lead early, scoring 100 in his first series but he soon faltered and was taken over by DUMOULIN. WANG set the Olympic record first and DUMOULIN equalled it a short time later.
