Luo Haocai, Vice-Chairman of Ninth CPPCC National Committee

Luo, male; born March, 1934; a native of Anxi, Fujian Province; member of China Zhi Gong Party (Public Interest Party) and also of Communist Party of China (CPC); graduated from Beijing University; professor; chairman of China Zhi Gong Party Central Committee.

Taught as assistant teacher, lecturer and associate professor in Law Department of Beijing University from 1960 to 1986; served as vice president and professor of Beijing University from 1986 to 1993.

Served as vice-chairman of Central Committee of China Zhi Gong Party from 1986 to 1997; elected chairman in 1997.

Serving as vice-chairman of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese since 1986; vice-president of Supreme People's Court since 1995; vice-chairman of China Law Society since 1986.

Member of Standing Committee of Eighth CPPCC National Committee.
