Wang Wenyuan, Vice-Chairman of CPPCC
Ninth National Committee

Born February, 1931; native of Huangpi, Hubei Province.

After graduating from Credit Department of Northeast China Institute of Finance and Economics in 1956, Wang began teaching at the institute till 1958 and then taught at Liaoning University till 1982.

From 1982 to 1988, served as associate professor, professor, director of Teaching and Research Office and dean of Economics Department, and president of Economic College under Liaoning University.

In the meantime, was Standing Committee member of CPPCC Liaoning Provincial Committee.

From 1988 to 1992, was vice-governor of Liaoning Province, vice-chairman of Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Jiu San Society, Standing Committee member of CPPCC Liaoning Provincial Committee and CPPCC National Committee, vice-chairman of Central Committee of the Jiu San Society.

From March 1992 to the election this afternoon, worked as vice-chairman of Central Committee of the Jiu San Society and duty procurator-general of Supreme People's Procuratorate.
