Jiang Chunyun, Vice-Chairman of NPC Standing Committee

Following is a biographical sketch of Jiang Chunyun:

Jiang, born in Laixi county, Shandong province, April 1930, started work in 1946; joined Communist Party of China in February 1947.

Served as secretary-general of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, secretary of CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, governor of Shandong province, secretary of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, and vice-premier of State Council.

He Was member of Secretariat of CPC Central Committee, member of 13th through 15th CPC Central Committees, and member of Political Bureau of 14th CPC Central Committee; is member of Political Bureau of 15th CPC Central Committee.
