NANNING, June 19-- Two people are missing after a freighter sank in waters off south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Thursday, local authorities said.
Seven people were on the freighter registered in east China's Ningbo City. The vessel carrying steel sank at around 1 p.m. off south China's Beihai.
Five crew were rescued and two others were still missing as of 5 p.m..
The rescue work continues. Investigation is underway.
