HARBIN, Sept. 2 -- A shopping center in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province caught fire on Monday night, with unknown casualties, said the local fire department.
The blaze broke out at around 9 p.m. in Jinlong Plaza, Daowai District of Harbin, the provincial capital city.
Fire fighters were battling to put out the fire while searching for any trapped people by midnight. A local official told Xinhua there were no casualties.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
