Australian gov't to inject funding for indigenous education
Australian Education Minister Julia Gillard on Monday announced a new multi-million dollar federal government program to improve indigenous education.
Companies strongly support the European Offshore Wind Declaration
More than 140 company representatives in 38 countries have signed the European Offshore Wind Declaration, calling on national governments and the EU to give the necessary political and legislative support to develop a new multi-billion Euro offshore wind industry, according to statistics from the European Wind Energy Association.
ICT exhibition to be held in Yangon
An information and communication technology (ICT) exhibition will be held in Yangon next month, aimed at empowering people with IT knowledge and enabling them to get in close touch with modern IT equipment, sources with the IT circle said on Sunday.
