China Attends First WTO Meeting as Full Member(20011219)

Chinese deputy foreign trade minister Long Yongtu has arrived in Geneva for a WTO General Council meeting starting on December 19 as a formal delegate of the WTO's 143th member. Reports say China will send deputy foreign trade minister Zhang Xiang to serve as the country's first ambassador to WTO.
