The Great Hall of the People has again lept into world attention upon the holding of the annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC, China's top legislature), and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC, the nation's top political advisory body) in Beijing, on March 5 and 3 respectively.
