Transportation
Airport
Suzhou is only one hour's ride from Shanghai's international airports. Travelers can shuttle easily via the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway or the Park's Airport Road, both leading directly to the airports.

Three major ports are easily accessible from the Park: Shanghai Port, 145 km; Zhangjiagang Port, 90 km; and Changshu Port, 62 km. All are capable of handling ocean-going vessels up to 35,000 dwt. The fourth, Taicang Port, is only 50 km away and can handle vessels of 25,000 dwt.

Rail
The national railway network links Suzhou to major Chinese cities. The Park is only 12 km away from Baiyangwan, the biggest freight train hub in Jiangsu Province.

Road
Transportation in the Park is efficient and smooth, with Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, State Highway 312 and internal network connecting to Shanghai, Nanjing and other parts of China. Suzhou-Jiaxing-Hangzhou Expressway, which passes the Park, is now under construction.

Canal
Two canals, with the capacity to handle barges up to 300 tons, run along the north and south of the Park.
