Bin Laden, Omar Are Safe: Iranian News Agency

Osama Bin Laden, whom the United States has accused of masterminding the September 11 terror attacks on the U.S., and Taliban spiritual leader Mullah Mohammad Omar are "safe and sound," Iran's IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday quoting an unidentified Taliban official.

Osama Bin Laden, whom the United States has accused of masterminding the September 11 terror attacks on the U.S., and Taliban spiritual leader Mullah Mohammad Omar are "safe and sound," Iran's IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday quoting an unidentified Taliban official.

The Taliban official also revealed that the Taliban troops have moved to the south of the country.

The report came as the opposition Northern Alliance forces captured the Afghan capital of Kabul on Tuesday.
