China, South Africa to Launch Bi-National Commission

South African President Thabo Mbeki arrived in Beijing Sunday afternoon to begin a state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

South African President Thabo Mbeki arrived in Beijing Sunday afternoon to begin a state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Jiang and Mbeki will officially launch the China-South Africa Bi-National Commission, and preside over the first session of the commission.
