China Appoints New Ambassadors

Chinese President Jiang Zemin announced Tuesday the appointment of new ambassadors according to a decision made by the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

Chinese President Jiang Zemin announced Tuesday the appointment of new ambassadors according to a decision made by the National People's Congress Standing Committee.

Sun Yuxi is appointed the ambassador to Afghanistan.

Zhang Chunxiang replaces Lu Shulin as the new ambassador to Pakistan.

Wang Wangsheng is appointed ambassador to Algeria to replaces Zheng Aquan.

Zhang Binhua is appointed the ambassador to the Federated States of Micronesia, replacing Xu Jun.
