Cooperation between China and the United States will benefit the world, said former US President Bill Clinton Thursday in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.

Sino-US cooperation was good, although problems and differences remained, Clinton said.

The former president also praised China's progress since adopting the opening-up policy and predicted that China would develop faster with its accession to the World Trade Organization.

Clinton was speaking at a forum jointly organized by American Business Week and Shenzhen Jingji Real Estate Company.
