'Silicon Valley' Inks Contracts of 10bn Yuan at Tech Fair

Sunday afternoon saw the Fifth China Beijing International High-Tech Fair culminated in the signing ceremony of the 4th Zhongguancun Projects Promotion & Technological Achievements Trade Fair held in Beijing Hotel. Zhongguancun Sci-Tech Park was bountifully rewarded with over 10bn yuan worth deals inked.

Sunday afternoon saw the Fifth China Beijing International High-Tech Fair culminated in the signing ceremony of the 4th Zhongguancun Projects Promotion & Technological Achievements Trade Fair held in Beijing Hotel. Zhongguancun Sci-Tech Park was bountifully rewarded with over 10bn yuan worth deals inked.

Altogether 100 sci-tech deals and letters of intent to over 13bn yuan worth were duly contracted by Zhongguancun Sci-Tech Park as a result of the Sci-Tech Fair held. Of these, 88 deals to a worth of 12.5 billion yuan and 12 letters of intent for developing cooperation to a worth of about 8 million yuan along with 40 representative sci-tech projects for a worth of about 8.5 billion yuan were signed.

Zhongguancun Park has by its large intellectual tank, sci-tech advantages and continuously improved soft and hardware environment posed great attraction to large Chinese and foreign sci-tech developers, entrepreneurs and medium-sized sci-tech enterprises to be launched in the park. Zhongguancun Software Park, Human Life Science Garden, Yongfeng Industrial Base and Land Information Base have made good debuts in the park.

So far, hi-tech enterprises launched in the park have already topped 10,000 including many a varied sci-tech setups by 43 world enterprise giants from abroad.
