Top Chinese Procurator Meets Mauritius Counterpart

Han Zhubin, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, met in Beijing Mondaywith his Mauritius counterpart, Attorney-general and Minister of Justice and Human Rights Emmanuel Jean Leung Shing.

Han Zhubin, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, met in Beijing Mondaywith his Mauritius counterpart, Attorney-general and Minister of Justice and Human Rights Emmanuel Jean Leung Shing.

Han said contacts between the procuratorates of the two countries are an integral part of bilateral ties, and expressed his conviction that Shing's current visit would promote mutual understanding and cooperation between the public prosecution departments of the two countries.

Shing said the procuratorate of Mauritius valued its ties with its Chinese counterpart, and hoped to further exchanges and cooperation between them.

Han and Shing signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the procuratorates of both countries.
