About 20 people were killed on Thursday when a Sudan Airways cargo plane crashed into Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic, according to reports reaching in Nairobi.

About 20 people were killed on Thursday when a Sudan Airways cargo plane crashed into Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic, according to reports reaching in Nairobi.

The plane crashed short of the main airport of Bangui, hitting a heavily-populated market district, the reports said.
