Air France Cancels Two Flights to US on Sept. 11
French airliner Air France decided to cancel one flight to New York and one to Washington on September 11, the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks, due to lackof reservations, the company announced Thursday.

"It (the ticket booking) is a desert. That is the reason to cancel the flights," said the company in a statement.
Air France normally has nine flights to New York a day except on Tuesday and Saturday and two to Washington. The two cancelled flights are usually assured by Boeing 777 with 368 seats.
The airline's supersonic Concorde jets will operate as scheduled on September 11, the statement said.
