China Saves Crew of Crashed ROK Cargo Ship
Local marine salvage departments from Shanghai City and Zhejiang Province, east China, jointly saved 12 crewmen from a crashed cargo ship of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Saturday afternoon.

Only one of the crewmen was slightly injured, and the remaining 11 were safe and sound.
The 1,680-dwt ROK cargo ship, 73 meters in length and 11.8 meters in width, was sailing towards Shanghai in the small hours of Saturday when it ran on rocks in the Shengsi sea area of Zhoushan City in Zhejiang Province.
The salvage act was challenged beside the precipitous cliff near the sea area where the accident happened.
