President Jiang Looks Forward to Meeting with Putin

Chinese President Jiang Zemin said Tuesday that he looks forward to exchanging views with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing on Sino-Russian relations and major international and regional issues.

Chinese President Jiang Zemin said Tuesday that he looks forward to exchanging views with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing on Sino-Russian relations and major international and regional issues.

During a meeting with Vyacheslav Lebedev, President of the Russian Supreme Court, Jiang Zemin spoke highly of the achievements made in the Sino-Russian strategic partnership.

He added China welcomes more extensive exchanges and cooperation between the judicial circles of the two countries. Jiang Zemin also says China attaches importance to the role the legal system plays in economic construction and social development.
