Greece Offers Assistance to Chinese Quake Victims

The Greek government has decided to offer 200,000 euro of humanitarian assistance to the earthquake victims in northwest China, the embassy of Greece in China said in a press release Monday.

The Greek government has decided to offer 200,000 euro of humanitarian assistance to the earthquake victims in northwest China, the embassy of Greece in China said in a press release Monday.

The Greek government also expressed its readiness to provide necessary relief materials to the affected areas, the press release said.

The strong earthquake that struck China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 10:03 a.m. Monday (Beijing Time), has claimed at least 257 lives.
