According to preliminary study, an index patient left the virus at the sewerage, whose imperfection led to the exudation of the virus, which reached to different families through their exhaust systems.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government started disinfection operation in Block E of Amoy Gardens Monday at all common areas of the building.

Moreover, they would disinfect the kitchen and the toilet of each flat with special attention being paid to the cleansing of sinks, bathtubs and drainage points.
