US President George W. Bush will take part in two separate summits in Egypt and Jordan during his Mideast trip planned for early next month, Jordanian Information Minister Mohammad Adwan said Tuesday.

Bush will meet with a group of Arab leaders, including Jordanian King Abdullah II and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak at Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, Adwan told the kingdom's Petra News Agency.

A second summit between US President George W. Bush and the Israeli and Palestinian prime ministers will be held in Jordan's Red Sea resort of Aqaba.

The Bush-Sharon-Abbas meeting is expected to be chaired by Abdullah, the Jordanian minister added.

The specific agenda of the two summits was still under discussion, said the minister, without giving further details.

Earlier reports said Bush would meet the two prime ministers on June 4 in Aqaba, a place preferred by Sharon to Sharm el-Sheikh.
