Chinese Wang Yifu Claims World Cup Shooting Title

World champion Wang Yifu from China clinched the title of the men's 10m air pistol event at the ISSF World Cup on Thursday.

World champion Wang Yifu from China clinched the title of the men's 10m air pistol event at the ISSF World Cup on Thursday.

The 42-year-old Chinese veteran took the gold with 687.2 pointswhile his fellow countryman Tan Zongliang finished second on 684.4.

Yury Dauhapolau from Belarus won the bronze and a 2004 Olympic berth as Chinese Wang and Tan had already occupied two berths.
