Senior Party Official Leaves for Cuba, Argentina And New Zealand

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, left here Saturday for an official goodwill visit to Cuba, Argentina and New Zealand.

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, left here Saturday for an official goodwill visit to Cuba, Argentina and New Zealand.

Li Changchun went to the three countries at the invitation of the Communist Party of Cuba, the government of Argentina and the government of New Zealand.

His entourage includes Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee; Ji Bingxuan, deputy head of the committee's Department of Publicity; Sun Jiazheng, Minister of Culture; Zhao Qizheng, director of the committee's International Communication Office; and Cai Wu, deputy head of the committee's International Department.
