British PM Blair to Visit Hong Kong July 22-24

British Prime Minister Tony Blair will visit Hong Kong during July 22-24, according to the Information Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Friday.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair will visit Hong Kong during July 22-24, according to the Information Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Friday.

While in Hong Kong, Blair will meet HKSAR Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa, legislators, investors and business leaders.

It will be Blair's third visit to Hong Kong since he became British Prime Minister in 1997. He made his first visit to Hong Kong in June 1997 to attend the handover ceremony. His last visit was in October 1998.
