China Names Roster for Gymnastics Worlds

China has revealed on Friday its 16-member team for the upcoming world gymnastics championships slated for August 16-24 in Anaheim, the United States.

China has revealed on Friday its 16-member team for the upcoming world gymnastics championships slated for August 16-24 in Anaheim, the United States.

The men's team consists of Li Xiaopeng, Yang Wei, Huang Xu, Liang Fuliang, Teng Haibin, Xiao Qin, Xing Yaowei and Feng Jing, while the women gymnasts include Zhang Nan, Kang Xin, Zhang Yufei,Li Ya, Fan Yi, Lin Li, Wang Tiantian and Gu Zheng.

Ye Zhennan, manager of the Chinese gymnastic team, hopes the Chinese men gymansts do theri best for good results and their women teenager accumulate experience to prepare for the Olympic Games next year in Athens.

The Chinese gymnasts will leave here for the United States on July 30 for a two-week long training to tune up for the worlds.
