Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao accepted an interview by Leonard Downie, executive editor of Washington Post of the United States, at Zhongnanhai in Beijing on Friday.

During the interview, Wen expounded on the situations and the target of China's economic and social development, as well as the Chinese government's view on Sino-US relations and major international issues.
