Premier League champions Manchester United have now entered the final stages of negotiations in their bid to lure Chinese star Dong Fangzhuo to Old Trafford.

Premier League champions Manchester United have now entered the final stages of negotiations in their bid to lure Chinese star Dong Fangzhuo to Old Trafford.

Dong Fangzhuo's current club, Dalian Shide, hopes to get some 50 million yuan or 6.2 million US dollars for their teenage wonder-striker.

He caught the eye of United's talent scouts three months ago.

If signed, Dong Fangzhuo will become the first Chinese footballer ever to pull on the Red Devil's jersey. (CRI)
