Auto imports up 86.7% in first 11 months

China's imports of automotive products grew by 86.7 percent year-on-year to reach 13.117 billion US dollars in the first eleven months of this year, according to the General Administration of Customs.

China's imports of automotive products grew by 86.7 percent year-on-year to reach 13.117 billion US dollars in the first eleven months of this year, according to the General Administration of Customs.

This included 4.683 billion US dollars for complete vehicles, 2.728 billion for key components, and 5.706 billion for parts and accessories.

China imported 155,761 complete vehicles (including CKD kits) in the same period, up 37.9 percent year-on-year. Of the total, 92,511 were sedans and 37,381 were off-road vehicles.
