HK Constitutional Development Task Force to visit Beijing
The Constitutional Development Task Force, led by Chief Secretary for Administration Donald Tsang,will leave for Beijing Sunday to discuss issues relating to constitutional development in the Hong Kong Special AdministrativeRegion (HKSAR).

Speaking to reporters Saturday afternoon, Tsang stressed that any constitutional change must be in line with the Basic Law of the HKSAR.
He said the task force had met with ten groups and individuals so far this year."Most of them thought that Hong Kong's constitutional system should be improved, however any changes mustcomply with the Basic Law and the principal of 'One Country, Two Systems'," he added.
During the two-day visit, the task force will meet with officials of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office and the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. They will also meet with Mainland legal experts.
Accompanying Tsang, Secretary for Justice Elsie Leung and Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Stephen Lam on the visit willbe Permanent Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Clement Mak; Principal Assistant Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Julina Chan; Administrative Assistant to the Chief Secretary for Administration So Kam-shing; and Press Secretary to the Chief Secretary for Administration Cathy Chu.
