Family members claimed the last body on Feb. 19 from a fire tragedy last Sunday in a shopping mall in this capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, in which 53 people died.
Seventy people injured in the blaze were still in hospital.
The last body identified was that of 48-year-old Zhang Mingjie, an employee of the Jilin City Transport Company, local police said.
Meanwhile, 42-year-old Li Shichang, one of the 14 seriously injured victims, was declared out of danger Thursday, and was transferred from an intensive care ward to an ordinary one, said Zhang Zhibo, the doctor in charge of Li's treatment.
However, Zhang said, other seriously injured patients suffering from symptoms like carbon monoxide poisoning and aspiration pneumonia were still in a critical condition.
The investigation team announced Wednesday that a cigarette butt dropped by a warehouse attendant caused the deadly fire which swept the four-story Zhongbai Shopping Mall Sunday morning.
