Spain to help quake-struck Morocco
The Spanish government said Tuesday that it would help Morocco mitigate the damage caused by a strong earthquake in the country's northeastern Alhucemas province,which left 226 people dead and 120 wounded.

At a press conference, Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Azar expressed his condolences for the victims in the earthquake and said his government would provide aid to Morocco, official sourcessaid.
The quake, estimated at 6.1 on the Richter scale, was also feltas far away as parts of southern Spain Tuesday.
Rescue teams have rushed to the devastated area to search for survivors and there were fears that the toll could rise as rescue workers scrambled to reach some of the more remote villages in the region.
