HK task force to meet representatives of NPC Standing Committee
Hong Kong Constitutional Development Task Force, led by Chief Secretary for Administration Donald Tsang, will meet with representatives of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Tuesday in Shenzhen.

According to a Hong Kong government announcement released Monday, Chief Secretary for Administration Donald Tsang, Secretaryfor Justice Elsie Leung and Secretary for Constitutional Affairs Stephen Lam will brief the NPC Standing Committee representatives on the task force's report which details the views of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government on the issues of legislative process in the Basic Law relating to Hong Kong's constitutional development.
The report also contains copies of all written submissions received by the task force, and a summary of views of different organizations and individuals the task force has met with.
The NPC Standing Committee is scheduled to discuss the draft interpretations on Article 7 of Annex I and Article 3 of Annex II of the Basic Law at its meeting to be held from April 2 to 6.
