Spain requests seizure of six bombings suspects

The Spanish Interior Minister posted Wednesday the pictures of five Moroccans and one Tunisian and requested their international seizure for alleged connections with the bombings that hit the capital Madrid last March 11.

The order was spread by the Interior Ministry to hunt down the brothers of Rachid and Mohammed Oulad Akcha, Abdennabi Kounjaa "Abdallah," Sarhane Ben Abdelmajid Fakhet "The Tunisian," Jamal Ahmidan and Said Berraj.

The surnames of some of the suspects are like those of several of the men detained by Spanish authorities in connection with the terror attacks that killed 191 people and wounded some 1,500.

The apprehended include Naima Oulad Akcha, the only woman arrested, along with Khalid Oulad Akchal, soon released, and the cousins Said and Hamid Ahmidan, being the first one also set free while the other one was pointed out as alleged collaborator of theattack.

At the same time, Spaniard Antonio Toro Castro was kept under detention. He is the brother in law of a former miner, Jose EmilioSuarez, accused of providing explosives for the attempt.
