Israeli troops kill 31 Palestinians after Yassin assassination
The Palestinian Health minister's information centre said in a report published on Wednesday that 31 Palestinians were killed since the assassination of Islamic Resistance Hamas movement's spiritual leader Ahmad Yassin on March 22.
The Palestinian Health minister's information centre said in a report published on Wednesday that 31 Palestinians were killed since the assassination of Islamic Resistance Hamas movement's spiritual leader Ahmad Yassin on March 22.
The report said that 236 other Palestinians were also injured. The reports held the Israeli government fully responsible for the safety and lives of Palestinians in light of its military measures that breach the international law and the fourth Geneva Convention,according to the health minister.
The health minister, meanwhile, called on the United Nations, the International Red Cross Society and the World Health Organization (WHO) to exert pressures on Israel and halt its military aggressions against Palestinian hospitals, health centers,paramedics and ambulances.
The report also added that the Israeli Army has been besieging and storming into Palestinian hospitals and barring patients and injured people from reaching hospitals, in addition to humiliating and arresting Palestinian paramedic staff since the outbreak of theIntifada (Uprising) on September 2000.
