Car bomb kills 6 people in Iraq: US military
A car bomb exploded Wednesday inthe central Iraqi town of Ramadi, about 100 km west of Baghdad,killing six Iraqis and wounding five others, the US army said in astatement on Thursday.

The statement gave no further details on the circumstances orthe target of the attack.
Also on Wednesday, four US contractors were killed when their two-vehicle convoy were ambushed and set ablaze in the town of Fallujah, 50 km west of the capitol, hours after five US soldierswere killed in a roadside bomb attack west of Baghdad.
At least 12 people were injured when a car bomb exploded on Wednesday in the Iraqi town of Baquba, northeastern of Baghdad,local police said.
