UK leader of House of Commons ends visit to HK
Peter Hain, the United Kingdom'sLeader of the House of Commons and Secretary of State for Wales ended his visit to Hong Kong Wednesday.

Peter Hain, the United Kingdom'sLeader of the House of Commons and Secretary of State for Wales ended his visit to
Hong Kong
Wednesday.
During his stay, Hain met with the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Tung Chee Hwa, Hong Kong's Secretary for Justice Elsie Leung Oi-sie, and President of the Legislative Council of HKSAR Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai.
Hain also gave a speech on the theme of "Constitutional and Democratic Reform in the UK" to an invited audience at a lunch hosted by think-tank Civic Exchange. He also promoted Wales as an attractive investment destination at a number of events organized by the Welsh Development Agency.
Hain arrived in Hong Kong Monday, and left Wednesday for
Shanghai
and
Beijing
in China's mainland.
