ZHENGZHOU, April 8 (Xinhua) -- China's top swimmers showed their good form at the National Championships while some young swimmers attracted people's attention with good results.

London Olympic champion Sun Yang has shrugged off the row and proved he was back on track with four gold medals and three world best results at the Championships.

The 21-year-old just reunited with his long-term coach Zhu Zhigen on March after his love affair had made their relationship turn sour earlier the year and Sun had been out of systematic training for over two months.

Sun was suspended from all commercial activities in February for breaching a "series of team rules" and had one month's training allowance withheld.

However, Sun's performance at the National Championships showed that the freestyle speciallist has never been really away from the pool.

The Olympic 400m, 1,500m freestyle and 4x100m freestyle relay champion at the London Games led all the way to win the men's 1,500m free Monday at 14:48.10, which is the world fastest time so far this year, and could rank fourth at the London Games.
